Should I try to learn Web Development?

I’m an iOS developer with 5 years of experience, but since getting laid off this year I’ve been searching for a job for the past 6 months without success.

Wondering if any others here have made this transition. Would learning some basic full-stack development help improve my employability, or increase chances to get another development role? If so, what stacks or technologies might complement my current skill set?
