How over is it

I'm staying with a host family abroad for the summer and they were so kind to get me this pot of hydrangeas. I'm not much of a green thumb outside of my little experience with farming vegetables at school... A preliminary search says I'm in zone 7. We went away for almost a week to visit relatives and it didn't get any water in that time. 1st pic was right before we left (almost cried knowing this would happen), 2nd right when we got back, and 3rd is today after a couple of days of watering as per usual (maybe a little extra). I love this plant dearly! Is there anything I can do to help it out? Any ways I can assess for more info? Is it doomed?
