Drinking water

What’s the consensus on the drinking water in the Hudson valley? What towns have the best/worst?

I know many towns here are post industrial, is there any known industrial contamination?

Stayed outside Woodstock last night and it was pretty good, tasted clean anyway. Today I’m in Kingston and there’s a distinct pool water kind of tinge to it but this could just be the well/town dichotomy.
