Peace Lily / Spathiphyllum Confusion...
Hey everyone. I'm getting a little frustrated. I've been wanting a variegated peace lily for a long time and now I'm in the market looking. What I want is the first photo with those nice big leaves. I have the non variegated version and I believe it's called 'sensation'. The variegated version of sensation (pictured) looks to have striping rather than sectioned the variegation I'm after. Then comes along 'picasso'. I'm seeing two different versions of this 'picasso' peace lily (both types pictured) when searching - one has long slender leaves and the other has those nice full ones. How the heck am I supposed to know which one I'm buying?? The hard part is that the plant I'll be buying will likely be a starter so it's hard as heck to distinguish whether the leaves are just small because the plant is young or that it's the slender leaf variety. The long slender leaf variety that I don't want looks to have many smaller stems at the base. The fuller leaved picasso seem to all grow from one point at the base, as does my non-var sensation. There's also 'jessica' (pictured) and again, slender leaves, striping, not what I want. Sorry for the huge message. Just hoping maybe someone has some input or pointers on what to look for. Thanks all
