Books that are supernatural/sci-fi horror fiction but are written sort of like non-fiction?

I don't even know what genre of books this is called. Think books like:

• World War Z by Max Brooks
• The People's History of the Vampire Uprising by Raymond A. Villareal
• Feed by Mira Grant
• The Strain by Guillermo del Toro
• At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft
• The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton

They don't necessarily have to be about vampires and zombies haha those were just the first ones I thought of.

Kind of like how this reddit post describes them.

Any suggestions please I want to read them all!!
