Anyone never moved out in their life?
I am 33 and have always lived in the same house because I inherited it at 21 when I lost my parents. Since then, I've always considered selling it, as it is way too big for me and requires much work to maintain. My 20s were spent taking care of the house rather than having fun - which is paying off now in terms of the valuation of the house, so I don't regret anything. Yet, I also feel tied to the house because I have to build my lifestyle around it: finding a high-paying job to support the costs in the same region of the house. At the same time, this is my nest. This is where I feel safe and comfortable. It is beautiful, with a lake view, and I have almost fully renovated it.
I know this is a specific situation, but I wanted to know if anyone experienced something similar.
