i7 8550u or N100 for Jellyfin transcoding?

Hello, I am in the process of moving to a new small home server from an i3 4310t and I have two offers for the same price: Asus chromebox 3 with an i7 8550u or an Asrock N100dc-itx board. I wish to get a few 4k to 1080p transcoding streams from it. Which one should I pick? I see the i7 has better passmark score and similar capabilities, is that the better choice? Thanks!
