Am i weird?

I saw a post about playing lefty in Japan and it got me thinking. I’m right handed in everything except baseball where I’m ambidextrous. In general, if i’m a righty, should i wear full right gear or is your trapper meant to be on your non dominant hand? Thus the title. Am i weird for wearing a trapper on my left hand as a natural righty?
