The pitiful state of legal Canadian streaming is not getting enough attention. Shame on the NHL.

Last year we could subscribe to NHL Live and access everything aside from regional blackouts.

The NHL dropped NHL Live in favour of Sportsnet Now, where we get access to regional games, but not National games, and not US games.

As a Leaf fan in BC I would be paying $250 to stream 56 games.

I'm also a Detroit fan, and from what I can tell there is no Canadian access to US streams.

Obviously there are ways around this, but as far as the NHL's actual offerings go, this is a fucking joke. I'm so sick off this league and it's archaic management.

EDIT: I might be incorrect, the pricing table shows NHL Live and Hockey Night in Canada, though another screen shows different information and two customer service reps told me there are no National streams or US streams.
