Am I a devil worshipper?

I belong to a Bramhin family and heavy prayers are done in my house daily. I am not regular but I often pray after bathing. It seems to me that I have a rather unproductive day when I pray for a productive one. I don't get a particular job when I heartily hope for it. I am a student now and want to maximize. On the other hand I have a great day when I skip praying.

I have sufficient evidence to come to this conclusion. I have tried to take it as an experiment and made conscious effort to study well but something or the other pops up.

This is very counterintuitive and I want to know if I don't deserve to pray Him? I am in complete dillema here. Please help me if you have genuine solution and have experienced this specific case.🙏
