I Hate Highschool Teachers

So my piano teacher gave me this piece this morning and told me to learn it for the playing test in the 22nd of January, or a week and a half from the day I'm posting this. Now I'm in the band also so the actual day he passed this out, I was at a concert for elementary schools...That was beginning of second quarter...and he won't even let me play a piece I've been learning instead of this. AITA for wanting to punch him?
