Crystals!

Hi all! I know this has been asked before but I am struggling to find crystal ore! I have done lectenbury mine 21-40 around 8 times now I’ve also tried Herbstburg mine 30-40 around 10 times and I haven’t found a single Crystal! Is my game glitched? I have been both digging the spots on the floor and breaking the nodes. The white/clear nodes are always either glass or bronze for some unknown reason (shouldn’t bronze be brown???) I will greatly appreciate any help!
