Most Important Concerns When Buying Used

I have never owned a cart, but we would like to buy one if we can make the numbers work (best cart for the least price, etc.) and we don't want to make any colossal blunders.

So, other than battery age and condition what are the most significant items to check on when buying a used cart, in you opinion?
