Use of GC3 in Indoor Center

I’m sure someone else, maybe fellow instructors, have encountered this before and possibly found a solution:

The center that I teach at recently opened a great new indoor center, with 5 bays outfitted with TrackMan iO units. While this is fantastic for teaching, the iO units currently cannot provide Angle of Attack data. As such, I would really like to be able to use my GC3 with students, so that we can get all the data we possibly can.

The issue is that there seems to be an issue with stabilization of the ball (or maybe something else, this is really just my guess) that leads to my GC3 being unable to get a consistent read on the ball. I’ve attached a video of what this looks like. This happens with GC Quads, as well, and both units work fine in the bays if they are moved off the hitting surface and onto the harder spots of “turf” in the forward areas of the bays.

I’ve heard of these issues before, but wondered if anyone has found a solution for this. Thanks in advance for any help!
