What do these numbers mean on the shaft adapter?

I recently purchased a hybrid from Callaway Preowned and it looks like there was a shaft adapter on it and it is set to -1. There are a few other letters/ numbers on different sides of the adapter as well like N, D, S, +1, +2, etc.

What do these actually mean and should I be changing anything?
