Verbindliche Auskünfte question

Hello, does anyone here have experience with requesting a Verbindliche Auskünfte with the Bundeszentralamt für Steuern. I'm mostly interested in how long it takes to get an answer.

This page has a lot of information on the topic, but as far as I can tell there is no information on the time it takes to get an answer (also the fee calculation is unclear to me).
