How do I make friends in Germany?

Basically been here for 6 years now I speak multiple languages as well as German not that fluently but a level C1/C2 I would say. I was always surrounded with people from multiple nationalities Germans and non Germans when I first came and had zero issues and I prefer not to have friends from where I come from

I went through a nasty breakup with an abusive ex and all changed and he controlled people I knew and befriended my friends and I his. But when we broke up they all took his side and I left the city and cut contact with the good people as well to heal now I am the loneliest ever and living alone which I haven’t gotten used to since a year now. I had some friends here and there this year but if it’s a guy it’s almost always someone who doesn’t want just a friendship and I will have eventually to step back because it feels uncomfortable if I’m not interested and girls oh it’s hard to find them.

I know it’s known that it’s hard to make friendships in Germany but now that I’m experiencing it for the first time after being surrounded with people before my ex I’m really getting depressed especially that I am in between finding a job and as a girl in her twenties who likes to be social. I literally get scared to go back home and have panic attacks just because of loneliness. Any tips/apps/someone to befriend in the NRW area? Feel embarrassed to even ask for friends. Thanks

Edit: I have noticed comments claiming that I am asking for German friends which is not the case and never mentioned this on my post. I had all kind of international German and not German friends and I like it! Please read the post instead of just the question. Thank you and I appreciate all people and all advice 🙏🏻
