Capital gains tax in germany

Hello everyone,

I am an expat who lives in Germany and I use interactive brokers for stocks.

Now I am wondering how to calculate my capital tax for the tax declaration for the year 2023.

Let’s say I made a total of 1K euros in capital gains and 200 euros in dividends.

As I live alone and am not registered in a church Can I calculate the tax as following: (1200 - 800 (tax break for singles)) * 0.35 (capital gain (26%) + solidarity surcharge (5.5%) = 106 euro?

Is this the right way?

Thanks!

Update 1: I found this page which helps a lot

But am wondering about dividends are they taxed the same way as realized gains or do they have a different rate?
