Mascot Horror and BanBan

i was watching a video reviewing the faults of mascot horror and the creator kept mentioning banban like its the plague. i guess i just don’t get it. i personally really enjoy the game and think its fun and silly. for some reason i really enjoy the characters and their personalities, which i guess is normal for this sub lol. but it genuinely really resonates with me and more so i find the plot and lore really interesting. i do want to say i agree with most creators in the point that kids places turned evil are way overrated and overdone. i personally didnt really love the first chapter of poppy playtime but i really enjoy where the story has gone! for FNAF ive always loved it and its no contest for me even though its been lowk having a fall from grace. i think of banban as a game that should’ve, in all honesty, been the last kids setting mascot horror game. it is done well and i think there is no need for the other 500+ games that have come out because it’s usually the same plot of: guy goes to abandoned kids place, evil monster mascots attack, guy gets out just in time. it is way over done. id also like to mention that as of recent years ive noticed how little popular games ACTUALLY vary. every once in a while theres a good and popular game concept but then people RUN with it. i guess i like the variation that banban brings to the table with its lore and characters and especially how they interact with you because god forbid we get another game set in a children’s playground or theme park.
