Tips on growing green beans from seeds?

Hello everyone! I'm starting to think about my garden for 2025 and would love some tips for growing green beans from seeds.

Last year I tried and couldn't seem to get them to sprout. I tried straight into soil. I also tried soaking them for 12 hours then into soil with no luck.

Do you do the bag/paper towel method? I've also seen a method where you put them in the fridge over night and pull them out. Looking for any tips! I really would love to have them in my garden this year!
