25M, 6'1" 163lbs ->181lbs ->173lbs First Year of Lifting
I started lifting seriously in about July of last year as dated by the before picture. I previously played tennis from about 6th grade to end of highschool fairly seriously and lifting was my way to start feeling athletic again. I've always been very skinny and force fed myself 3-3.5k cals to bulk for as long as I've really been lifting (I use chronometer).
For most muscle groups I would do 2-3 movements using a push pull legs framework, however I would always hit forearms with some basic lifts (preacher hammer curls, and wrist curls on a cable machine). The last 4 months I started rock climbing, with the rough excel sheet routine in my images. Starting from ~ 4 months ago I dialed up my forearm training, including CoC grippers (worked from the T to the #1), reverse and regular wrist curls, hand/rice bucket training as a finisher, pronation curls, preacher hammer curls, expand your hand bands, and fully replaced my pull days with indoor rock climbing (end sessions with max chinups, pullups, and bicep curls).
The last 3ish weeks I started my first purposeful cut to resensitize myself for an even better second bulk! I stopped my first bulk at 181 lbs.
The 1st image comparison both taken during a pull day pump whilst the 2nd and 4th images are without a pump.
