China has so little soft power that they are resorting to reverse engineering social media trends via AI to get more popular content out
Has anyone noticed a spike in China-related content, namely "memes" and subliminal propaganda?
I get the feeling they are so detached from soft power that they are only just now getting it out there...by having AI guide them in releasing content that may be popular based on harvested metadata. And tiktok's data will be the major player on guiding their efforts to manufacture their own soft power.
This will just end any and all actual creativity that comes out of China from the folks who don't wish to be bound by the CCP leash (not that we could see it much anyway).
