Managers who have sold a player and ended on buying them back eventually, what was your story or reasoning for it?
For me it was a youth academy product called Christopher Murphy, he had shown signs of being a World Class striker so I sent him out on loan numerous times but he failed to live up to his hype so when a struggling Everton side in 2035 offered £54 million for him I accepted. However 2 seasons later, both my first team strikers had 4-5 month long injuries which wouldn't help for a team which has turned the prem into a farmers league. I noticed that the now relegated Everton were struggling financially and I bought him for £80 million to bring him home. Apart from his shaky first season, he is now my first choice striker at 27 years of age.
