Part 61 vs Part 141
I recently just passed my private check ride at 75 hours, I dont have any loans and I can pay as I go (fortunate enough to have my parents' and wife's full support) while doing a part time job at some restaurant. I did part 141 on my private with a local flight school here in south florida but now I am wondering which is a better route to be more efficient to move forward and get all the ratings, time and money wise.
There was a time in my training where I badly plateaued because of my landings and just did traffic patterns for almost 2 months and I guess I was not allowed to do other stuff because of the rigidity of the part 141 program. I did switch instructors and it was eventually fixed but I am still confused on which route to go for my instrument and commercial.
