Amano shrimp issue

I have a 30 gallon tank with syndontis petricola, some Kuhli loaches, then just some various tetras. I had about 9 amano shrimp but I feel like they have all slowly disappeared. I've only seen one in the past week or two. Could they have been killed/eaten? I saw the syndontis as peaceful, should I buy more Amanos?
