Anybody experiencing REALLY bad lag right now?

For some context, I opened the app this morning and found it was lagging something awful. Every time I checked something off, it would take a few seconds to respond.

I also can't see if my Tree Town friends have sent me anything since the lag is absolutely terrible.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing right now or is it just me? Thanks in advance.
