Issue with the Wingman FGC for PS5

I have currently run into some issues with my converter. For reference I am using the original Madcatz TE with the wingman FGC for PS5.

Initially the set up was working perfectly, I could play any fighter I wanted, but within the past week the select button works as the share button. When I first had the converter the select button was the touchpad button and to access the share button I would need to press both start and select, but now the touchpad button is completely inaccessible.

Has anyone else run into this issue? I have tried updating the firmware on the converter and my PS5 is up to date.
