Why so many anime kins

I feel like this is mostly a Twitter thing, but I see a lot more kins from anime than any other type of media, I understand anime and genshin stuff like that is super popular but it's ALL I see sometimes. Where are the fictionkin from more obscure sources, comic books, stand alone movies? Furry character kins, robots, monsters etc. I just almost never see them on the internet aside from this subreddit.
