Recommendations based on Harrow Faire

Hi all,

I have just finished the fourth book of Harrow Faire and only have one more to go which fills me with dread because for the first time in over a decade I was really really into a book (series) and now I need MORE.

I used to love reading when I was teenager but uni seemed to have sucked all the fun out of it for many years and thought maybe romantasy is the genre to get me back into it after I had heard so much about ACOTAR on instagram.

For me ACOTAR was ok. I did quite like the second book and read four of the five books but they didn't fulfil me. I also read What lies beyond the Veil, but didn't really enjoy it and gave up about 80 pages into the second book.

And then you good people recommended Harrow Faire and finally I had that all consuming feeling of addiction I was longing for lol. So now I turn to you wise folk once again: what other books do you think I might enjoy? What I like most about HF is of course Simon and how is not a good person. I found I didn't like it too much in the other books when the MMC would do anything for FMC all the time and immediately makes it clear that she is his highest priority. I also liked that Cora is fairly normal not like a skilled fighter or happens to know everything type. The level of smut was fine. I liked that it took a while for them to do it and that not every sexual encounter was described in detail because I think it can get repetitive. I also like the overall story because it's something new although I think I am flexible about the setting (high or low fantasy, contemporary or more historical like). Any recommendations are welcome!

Thanks!:)
