Common words or phrases that you personally can’t stand?

I don’t know why, but I haaaate any variation of “drank” that isn’t with a beverage. “Her eyes drank me in” or “I drank in her words” it makes me physically cringe and rips me out of the story so fast. For some reason it evokes a feeling of disgust in me (especially the eye one, I envision eyelids just like squinting and slurping a liquid.) It genuinely kills the mood for me. Idk why I'm like this.

I also hate the word crimson. If it’s once, sure, fine. But there are so many other words, and using crimson over and over again is so lazy...?

Anybody else have random phrases or words they for some reason just can't stand?
