Did anyone else realise how complicated the Cambric Creek reading order is?
Somebody on here posted about Two for Tea by C. M. Nacosta ages ago and it looked so interesting I was like ok I have to read that but I'm insane and I can't start a series in the middle, so suddenly I was reading Morning Glory Milking Farm (and if you haven't read it, it's not actually as bad as you think it's going to be but actually I did prefer the second book which was from his POV A Blue Ribbon Romance). Like yeah these books are a bit more smutty than I normally prefer but the relationships are cute and for the most part they're not stressful reads and you can just switch off and read something silly and cute. They're written quite well and I don't think they're corny. I did finally read Two for Tea today (I had hyped it up so much that I had to step away for a while cos i was worried it wouldn't live up but actually it was amazing).
BUT, I'd already realised based off the list at the back of MGMF that the book order is weird and incorporates several series, you can't just go off "Cambric Creek Sweet and Steamy Monster romance books 1 to whatever" because then you miss out on essential characters and plot, and being insane (as previously mentioned), I can't have that. So I made what I thought was an accurate list of books until today I finally realised that her Girls Weekend series is ALSO part of Cambric Creek. 🤦♀️. This means MGMF isn't actually the first book. Help. I also found a random novella today that definitely wasn't there before (the front of the book said it was on her patreon before so I think she's only just realeased it, but it actually belongs after MGMF/ABRR) Anyway, now my brain that likes order is upset and I have to go back and read books that I have missed. But also I'm posting the actual chronological reading order here for anyone else that might be insane and needs it, so you don't suffer like I do. And also if you haven't read this series cos the whole minotaur milking thing was putting you off, that's really just in those two books, the rest are about other creatures and you'll probably find something you like because most of the couples are damn cute and Cambric Creek sounds cute as hell. The last few aren't published yet, they're coming out in the next few months. I am not 100% sure which order you need to read Reunions and Samhein in as they come out on the same day.
- Girls Weekend
- The Minoan Bride (flashbacks to the original minotaur story)
- Morning Glory Milking Farm
- A Blue Ribbon Romance
- The Mabon Feast
- Parties
- A Holly Jolly Mess
- Sweet Berries
- Run, Run Rabbit (stressful but connected to the next book)
- Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic
- Hexennacht
- Two for Tea (deals with grief and depression)
- Shadows and Light (stressful but has a HEA/HFN)
- Invitations
- Litha comes out Nov 25
- Full Moon Frenzy comes out 24 Jan 2025
- Reunions comes out 19 Feb 2025
- Samhein comes out 19 Feb 2025
- He Loves Me Not comes out 31 March 2025
- The Watchers comes out 4 Sept 2025
Edit: okay i've swapped The Minoan Bride to 2 because technically that's where it falls chronologically, now that i've thought about it. And also i've labelled which of these are NOT sweet, so you know before going in, but she usually warns you at the front of the book as well.
2nd Edit: i just found another book! 🤦♀️ i'm going to just keep updating this list as a i find books or changing the order if i realise something isn't right, so if you are actually insane the way I am insane, check back if you want an updated list. Also reply if you notice something wrong and i'll fix it.
