Why not mimic burning at max-thrust, then "flip" halfway through and continue a max-thrust burn to decelerate?
I realize that the space-platform graphics are oriented with an "always up" orientation due to memory constraints, and that's an excellent solution to the constraints faced by the team.
But, why not pause at the 1/2 point during a journey, have everything else rotate 180 degrees around the space platform and continue the simulated journey to the destination?
I keep sending space platforms on their way and feeling like they aren't gonna make it because their fuel is nearly depleted but they haven't flipped and started decreasing velocity yet.
