This post got popular recently, but there is some missing context to it.(As a Syrian)

Before I say anything, I need to clarify something: No, this post isn’t defending Jolani at all. I hate the guy and I can’t trust him until I can be permanently sure we won’t turn into Afghanistan.

With that out of the way, let me begin.

First off, as of right now no Hijab or Niqab is forced upon women in Syria by the New Government. Don’t debate that point because there’s no denying it. And I’m not saying it’ll always be like this, again I don’t trust Jolani, but it’s worth mentioning.

So theoretically speaking the post in question makes no sense, it obviously implies that Niqab is forced in Syria, that may be a misunderstanding on my part; so OP if you see this and think I’m mistaken please correct me.

With that out of the way, just who put these posters up?

I have two theories:

1: They were put by “Dawah bros” to convince girls to wear the Niqab.

2: They were put by the new Government as “advice” for young girls.

Feel free to discuss your thoughts on the matter in the comments.
