God telling Joseph to do it is worse

I don't get how they think, well Joseph HAD to marry them, GOD told him to. He even sent an angel to threaten Joseph.....And that's supposed to be better than Joseph choosing to do that on his own? I wish I had the guts to say, " Do you genuinely believe that God told Joseph to lie to his one and only legal wife and to then coerce and marry already married women, girls, girls whom he was their guardian for, employer etc? And that God uses angels to threaten people with death to obey or else? And I'm supposed to want to go live with that God forever because he is so loving? Um, that's a no for me. That God sounds abusive, gross and weirdly mafia like." Kind of strange how they dangle the but it's true carrot not realizing that if it is true that would be so much worse. Barf
