Heart healthier latte milk/fat/oil options??
I’ve been a latte drinker for many years. Usually choosing heavy cream as the milk option.
Lately I’ve needed to cut back on saturated fat, and I’m really struggling to replicate my latte experience with lower fat options.
I had the thought today of adding avocado oil to the milk to hopefully improve the texture.
I remember seeing olive oil as an option at Starbucks once, and I’m curious if anyone has experimented with adding oil to lattes. What works, what doesn’t, do you have good ratios you like, etc?
