Any elementary teachers? I needed a clarification on phonological awareness.
On this website, 4 levels of phonological awareness are shown, and it says phonemic awareness is the last one to develop. The 4 levels are-

Is this serialized correctly? Do kids recognize rhyming words before syllables and then beginning sounds and then phonemic awareness (which is individual sounds)? This doesn't make sense to me.
