Charge Issue (V10)

Apologies if this is a repost. I assume I’m not the first with the issue, but I searched and found nothing. I also have a newborn, so my search may have been subpar. I have a cordless v10 vacuum. It’s a few years old but nothing crazy. It currently charges, shown by the three charging lights showing the charge go full and stay there. But when we use the vacuum it only works for about 5-7 minutes and abruptly stops. No noises or winding down, just off. Is this a battery issue? Is this something larger? Thanks in advance!
