Been driving just under a week. What are the odds I've been caught running this red? Description below.

I was driving and the sat nav had confused the fuck out of me as I knew I had to turn left looking at the map but it had said continue straight.

The sun was really clearing and I could t really see anything forward.

, i indicated and got into the left lane and next thing I know, the light changed red and I stopped (not harsh or anything) but I ended up with the nose of my car about half way into the pedestrian part of the crossing.

No cars were behind me so I reversed back up to as close to the line as I could get before another car pulled up to my side. At which point I was now stationary with the stop line under my front drivers door but the nose of my car was clearly still over.

It's a 100 quid fine if I'm correct and 3 points on my 6 pointed licence which I would rather not get... happy to learn my lesson but would rather learn it free than get done for it haha.

Any opinions? Looks like a fairly well monitored light system if I'm honest.
