First ever Reddit post and scared!

UPDATE: I've officially joined the club. Just got a pet scan today, will know more about my BC when the results come out. All I know is there's node involvement too. To say I'm FREAKING out is understatement. I'm worried it's Mets! I know the mind is a powerful tool and have been feeling joint pains now, my lower back has been hurting (before the diagnosis) I feel like I'm out of breath....etc I haven't told my family yet! I sont how to tell them now and I don't want to ruin their NYE celebrations. I'm going to wait it out and tell them when I get my results from the PS.

I'm 46F. Family history for different cancers including my own thyroid cancer. As for BC in the family my dad's sister had it. Found a lump in my right breast behind the nipple 4 weeks ago, shortly after found a swollen lymph node in armpit. Those 4 weeks were from hell! I was spiralling and went down the rabbit hole so quickly especially after googling. I didn't have it in me to tell my husband so suffered own my own quietly, had to put a brave face when around the family but when I had the chance to be alone, that's when all hell broke lose. Fast forward to few days ago, I finally had the courage to tell my husband and he immediately scheduled an appointment for me. My appointment was yesterday, the doctor performed a clinical examination, she felt the lump and was 50/50 then she felt the lymph nodes under my arm and said: I don't like this!!! My heart sank! She requested for imaging (US + Mammoth) and soon after I had a biopsy done for the lump and the lymph node. The radiologist told me that the lump had defined edges like a very hard cyst and very clear on the mammo however my breasts are dense so she did an US. While checking, she did say there was a blood flow, the lump wasn't the in the duct despite its location, there's some calcification, and it's movable when pressing with the wand. I felt like she was puzzled and she couldn't clearly see if it was benign or malignant it's 50/50 at this point. There are red flags but also have characteristics of benign lump. Straight after had a biopsy done for both the lump and lymph and now the waiting game begins. Anyone else experienced similar findings and it was benign?!
