Mom’s dog pooped on the porch. (vent)

My mom for some reason doesn’t feel the need to enforce where her dog poops. I personally think it’s disgusting to find little turds on the pool deck and driveway. Oh and I love getting yelled at by her neighbor because her dog pooped in their yard. I’ve tried so hard over the last year to train it out of her. I went out of town for the weekend and came back to poo everywhere, including the neighbors yard.

This morning I let her out and she immediately tries to poop on the front porch. I say, “no lily go in the grass.” And she goes straight to the neighbors yard. 🤦‍♂️ I ran over to corral her into our yard, no worries about stepping on 💩 in our yard! lol But she runs to the driveway where she let one go out the bombbay door. I yell “no lily!” which scares her and she runs back to the porch to end the bombing sortee.

My dog!? Different story. He happily trots to the side yard to do his business and make sure there aren’t any squirrels in the yard.

Edit: I’m not looking for solutions. I know how to train dogs. I’ve been training an elderly dog that was never trained.
