Admin admin and more admin

I'm so sick of typing away on ward rounds, copy pasting bloods and investigations to make a note look nice because my consultant wants it to look presentable. I also feel like I spend my day doing discharge summaries or writing referrals to specialities and doing a lot of this social work stuff with hardly any medicine. I'm seriously considering relocating to Asia because I feel like you actually treat patients who are sick, as opposed to dealing with families who want their relatives in hospital because they don't want to sell a house to pay for care, or watching the nurse practioners do all the procedures while I just watch.

Just about had it today when I had to call 4 different places to sort someone's discharge on dialysis.
