Has anyone noticed that we never see monsters actually scare a kid in Monster’s Inc?

If I’m not mistaken, I realized after my most recent watch that the only time we actually see a monster - specifically Sully - scaring a kid is at the end when he enters the test room with Boo and Waternoose demands he scare the machine, so he still never intentionally scares a real kid. He scares the machine with Boo as an unfortunate victim

And for the entirety of the movie we only see the monsters go into the closets, we hear screams, and then they leave.

I guess we see the shadows of them when they’re jumping from house to house trying to find the right door but nothing close to this scene with Sully and Boo!
