Is dishwashing that bad??

I work at a tacobell as a closer now and they said they are gonna make me do dishes next shift and everyone is saying how bad it is, why does everyone hate on it?? Ive never done dishes there before but if anybody has some tips/insight on what to do or expect that would be great. I feel like all in all id rather do dishes then drive thru again
