US based early startup vs India based stable startup?
My job currently(which is remote) is pretty comfortable and I rarely get any pressure here. Though the downside is that I don't get to learn anything here. All manual. The team size is around 100.
I have a decent salary of 8lpa as per my 2 yoe. However, I have got an offer that is almost 100% of my current package which is also remote for a US startup A with a bit hectic environment and the "bar of quality is high".
Its a series A startup in the AI Security space with a very small team of 50. They currently have 2 enterprise clients and have enough funding to go by 1 year apart from revenue(which is also green I'm told. Cannot verify it). They will apparently get a series B funding in 2025. I asked for insurance and additional benefits and I'm yet to get a reply from them.
The other startup B has over 400+ employees majorly from India (though their HQ is in US). They are offering me 50% on my current CTC. They have series B funding and more than 1000+ clients and have been in operation since 2019. They offer insurance, own machine and some other benefits as well. But the role will be purely support with almost no chance of making a transition to dev or devops.
My fear stems from the fact that:
This will be my 2nd switch in my career and I was looking for a stable work environment where I can stay for the long term. My first company(bootstrap no funding) is no more and the second one has no learning or any salary hike.
An advantage I'm getting is the opportunity to switch to dev or devops internally which was stated by the EM for startup A.
What would you suggest for people who have worked in similar conditions? My greed says I should go ahead with A since that means a better quality of life and more money to invest for retirement, but on the other hand, I fear the mark on my work history and risk of losing stability and a little suspicion on the startup.
Whereas in startup B there is more stability but I'll be losing 3L which is being offered by A.
