DBMII appreciation (again+ rambling)

I Remember the first time I listens to DGD in my senior year (3 years ago now) it was “And I told them I invented times new Roman” and then I heard “Lemon Meringue Tie” and then “Head Hunter” a few months later and that’s when I REALLY got into them, I always like all of the eras of the band because they offered something different and unique, but I revisited DBMII earlier this week and became obsessed with the album, this is probably their BEST pre-Tilian album because it’s just so perfect in its composition and writing. The raunchy and maybe not so tasteful JC lyrics, Jon’s ramblings and inarguably tastiest screaming, Will’s beautiful guitar work through out the record, and Matt’s amazing Drumming. These guys put their entire SOULS into this record. I just love this band so much and the music they put out, in my three years of listening this year will be my second of having them as my #1 most listened to artist, and I will wear that PROUDLY regardless of what they do with their lineup, as long as they are still kicking ass and making the music that THEY love for us, I will die with this band in my heart.
