Help with attempting to purchase a new CRV hybrid

Hi everyone,

I've had my prius c since 2012 and racked up over 250k miles on it. Unfortunately, I hit road debris the other day and now there is a serious exhaust manifold leak that my insurance company seems like it might argue that it will cost too much to repair.

I had already been thinking about getting a new vehicle anyway and have knida narrowed it down to a CRV hybrid or a Rav4 hybrid. Heavily leaning CRV due to the roomier driver seat(im 6'5"). I'm pretty torn between the different trim levels. I know that any level is going to feel like a huge improvement over the base model C I've been in for 13 years. I've seen some folks argue that, since the price of the touring is less than 2k more, its worth getting the added features. Do you all agree with that? The Sport L seems like it checks most of the boxes for me but do live in a winter climate and the added heat features and reduced cabin noise seem like nice QOS upgrades. Im not sure id actually subscribe to the honda app thing that is touted as a feature of the Touring.

All that said, looking at a local dealer, their website lists the following pricing:Theres

Then there are a couple used models in my area at Honda certified dealers:

used 2024 Sport L listed for 35,500 with 3,000 miles on it.

And a

used 2024 touring with 20,000 miles on it for 35,200.

Really just looking for thoughts and opinions on the New vs used debate and The L Vs Touring options. Or if anyone has recently bought and gotten any sort of decent negotiated down price that I could use for leverage. I plan on keeping this vehicle for, hopefully, the next ten+ years.
