Why are some people claiming that those who prefer the sub are somehow wrong?

This doesn't happen on every comment section, but on some comment sections people are going crazy about how the English dub is so good and how the Japanese dub isn't and how people are somehow wrong when they prefer sub. Don't get me wrong here, i love both dubs, and i always switch which one i'm gonna watch next. But i personally don't think one is better than another really, they are both great.

People here claim all kinds of stuff to justify calling someone elses opinion wrong like:

• "Watanabe has said that he thinks English dub is better"

Which is simply not true, he has never said this, his actual quote was about the dub of the movie and he said something like this "My English isn't that good, but i thought it sounded very good"

• "But the dub has Steve Blum he is so good"

And yeah, i kinda agree that Steve Blum is really good but people here seem to underestimate just how good Kōichi Yamadera is too, he is also very known voive actor in Japan who has done a lot of roles and if i'm not wrong i think he has also won some awards, now if you just don't like his voice or just prefer Steve Blum, it is completly fine, but just don't act like people who prefer Kōichi Yamadera are somehow wrong, everyone has their own opinion none of which are wrong.

And there is so much more but i don't want to list it all here. Now most people on this subreddit are nice and don't really care which dub you like, but there are always those who will just claim the English dub is objectively better than the Japanese dub, which doesn't make any sense to me, so that is why i wanted to ask, why? Why do people claim that? Is it really that hard to understand that some people prefer the Japanese dub over the English one or that some people like both?
