CERN created the large Hadron Collider because the Mayan Calendar was right and the world was going to end in 2012. CERN was able to create a mini black hole or big bang and we shifted timelines before it happened. It's why the Mandela Effect exists, those "memories" are from our previous timeline

Edit: not necessarily because of the Mayan Calendar (I realize that represents something different) but to avoid something catastrophic in general or just to fuck everything. Who knows, just something I've been thinking about
