Keltiberikh!

Hi my fellow conlangers!

I would like to share with you what i've been working on since I started in this conlang business (btw, I'm new to this, trying to get the hang of it, so, let me know if I am doing something wrong...)

My interest on celtic languages and culture led me to create a celtic conlang based on the old celtiberic language. It's more or less like the modern gaulish, or kaledonag or modern gallaecian, as I saw in a post earlier, or any other celtic conlang attempting to recreate a long lost language, so here it goes:

It's a SOV, agglutinative language, but as I am a major fan of Irish syntax structures, I've inserted some of these features into it (some notions like I have, I want or I like are VSO).

The phonology is a bit based on spanish, as to make it more similar to spanish and basque. Initially, I thought of doing some mix between spanish and french, but I am still working on the phonology because reasons...

There are no genders, the verbs are decleansed as in spanish (two verbs to be, both irregular). The verb decleansing table is fully ready. As in Irish, the language uses prepositional pronouns. Articles are placed as suffixes (old irish in). Annd, I've also added some mutations (eclipses, to be more exact), but only in the past of regular verbs.

The vocabulary is based on celtiberic inscriptions, old irish, and modern basque, to a lesser extent. I am not really sure how basque would be connected to it, but I feel like basque is part of this equation too, as the only surviving iberic language. Anyways, here is a little silly text I made (if anybody is interested, I'll post more about it later):

Istara soz ambi bethanin esti. Toz istara kainakh esti: Sel osgez istes betha ad'uir kia eni trebia bek dtrebad. Istes falte uerem ake istes olio istes ésem adoem. Akh ne ista deire ad'akobarin ó’tuath ake ista auk’ni beti ésam... Uirin kia ‘tès betha trem mà adoem ne bueti étir koem bistioto falte uerem. Deirenin.

This story is about life. This is a beautiful story: Once upon a time, there was a man who lived in a small house. He was happy because he had all he wanted. But the human greed has no end because we always want more... The man who had a very good life could not be happy. The end.

Please, tell me what you think. Buid'oum! (thank you all)
