- January 1955: EC Comics publishes Krigstein's Master Race for the first time in Tales Designed to Carry an Impact #1. A groundbreaking piece of work, it truly did make an impact! If you have never read this masterpiece, stop what you're doing and find it now!
- January 1989 and Marvel has The Uncanny X-Men #244 featuring the first appearance of Jubilee, and The Sensational She-Hulk #1 on the racks!
- Dark Horse has Cheval Noir #7 with that lovely Dave Stevens cover on the racks in January 1990!
